Permaflation, deep down I hope you (and Buckshot et al) are correct in your analysis and optimistic assessment, i.e, that the ARU Board of Directors saw a hostile bid in the making and arranged for this deal with Kinross to get the bidding started (the "white knight" scenario).

Don't forget the poison pill!
