I have to agree with your evaluation....

But I'm not prepared to let management off the hook

since IF we get a series of bids and IF they bid it up to a decent level...the retails may be happy

and if not- we're screwed and management still walk away with big grins on their face

as it stands now- management played russian roulette with the retails...we've got the gun to our head, not management, if the chamber's empty, we win, if not, we're dead

either way, management just enjoy the show from a safe place
