i finally got my call from kingsdale shareholder services. i barely heard the words "on behalf of kinross" when i started laughing at him. when i finally stopped laughing, i told him i was born at night, but it wasn't last night. he still didn't understand, so i told him that hair would grow in the palm of his hand before i tendered any of my shares to kinross. that he understood.

i wish i had thought of it, but i should have thanked him for sending me a blank piece of paper in the mail. i threw away the rest of that 70+ page circular, but the last page was blank, so i kept that as a scratch paper. at least i got something out of this deal.

making those phone calls to aurelian shareholders is one job i really wouldn't want to have.
