The company whose shareholders were better than its management
I just saw Burt's interview on the Business News. He said he has "overwhelming" support from the Aurelian shareholders and kept mentioning the support of the Aurelian Board of Directors.
Well first of all having support of the BOD is hardly an endorsement.....they have proven their incompetence and basically gone into hiding since the bid. Not exactly the actions of individuals proud of their decision.
Two, if he has "overwhelming" support of Aurelian investors then :
1. Why are you you paying Kingsdale to call thousands of investors to try and convince them to tender?
2. why are you paying some banks/brokerage houses to try to convince them to tender?
Three, please stop uttering that BS about paying such a high premium for Aurelian. Ya drive the share price down, make a stink bid, add a few warrants and call it a 63% premium. No intelligent investor is buying what you're selling.
Four, don't believe for second that Burt doesn't know what a sweet deal he could potentially get and don't believe for a second when he says he will not up the bid.
Five, I have worked for large corporations for 20 years and CEOs and Senior Managers make a living of lying through their teeth with a straight face.
Nice performance Mr.Burt. I have to give you credit for at least trying to add incredible value for your shareholders unlike Mr.Anderson who is hiding under his bed. However I for one am not buying what you're selling.
