The company whose shareholders were better than its management
Thx for relaying your findings especially those of the "boutique investment house". It was "good feeling" reading.
Two Sleepies left for a NEW bid, not a sweetened Kinross Bid to surface but personally I'm hoping:
1. The Kinross Bid fails MISERABLY. Say 42% of the ARU shares are tendered. Preferably not 50%
2. No further Bids surface prior to 03Sept08,
3. The New Mining Law Passes void of anything that poses a threat to Inter'l Mining Cos investing in Ecuador,
4. THEN, given time for the Internationals to fully digest the New Mining Laws, an initial Bid surfaces,
5. Then another even more Realistic bid surfaces one we'll all be pleased with that better values our property within a reasonable proximity of what it's worth. We are offered a choice of Shares with which we can participate in the drilling and development of FDN or Cash or a combination thereof.
6. Failing the above, we put ebear on a Plane to Ecuador to arrange financing with Studmuffin. If that fails, we order shovels for each Shareholder and we all get our rears over there and start digging ourselves. After what we've been through physical excercise is probably just what we need to regain our sanity.
