The company whose shareholders were better than its management
So assuming there is no other offer tomorrow.
and assuming the K deal doesnt go over 50%,
do we get a real offer on thursday from Barrick or Newmont.
Oh Austin, it's all I can do to wait for the result of the Kinross Offer without thinking of what's going to happen following - what I hope will be in the area of 40% of the shs being submitted on Closing.
In the meantime we've got to hope K doesn't increase their Offer by a menial amt likely applied to the Warrants, before Wednesday necessitating a repeat of what we've been through.
I want Kinross OUTTA here and take their one ply Warrants with them. (Thx to whoever penned that most suitable description.)
Well ... I'll conjure up a guess cause it's you asking ... LOL
My Bet would be No Offer from Barrick or Newmont until after the New Mining Law is passed which means approx mid October. Hopefully earlier but at the latest mid October after which all the Ground Rules are known and an aggressive Bidder can Bid and Bid and Bid with confidence to his heart's desire knowing what he's getting and how he has to conduct business to take his Company to new heights in the following 20 yrs. In addition being labelled the smartest CEO in Cdn History.
Now ... let's think about this scenerio ... Kinross Bid(s) Fail, the new Mining Law is such that it restricts profitability.
Patsy Anderson publically boasts " I Knew This Would Happen. You Selfish Idiot Shareholders shudda taken the Kinross bid I so skillfully arranged for you". After all the names we've called him, this is the kindest thing he could say.
Your comment: or do we just get the shaft??? I'd love to have ownership of the Shaft that mines this Beauty but there's not much chance of that. Some great Mining Co will pay us off with what he consideres "Chump Change" to get rid of us to get their hands on our Worldwide enviable Bounty.
$60. u say? Maybe so. We'd love it but at this moment in reality we're being offered uppermost 10% at the price of Kinross. The next best bid will likely be say $10 and we'll be falling over ourselves to submit our shs. Thereafter for the next 20 yrs we'll be watching the Drill Results/Development of the Mine wishing we'd tucked our ARU shs under the mattress.
I sure wish Keith would come aboard and give us a few words of encouragement and most important, some guidance as to price. It appears we'll have to wait for his Book to find out what he REALLY thought during this critical time.
Hmm maybe not. If and When we learn he hasn't submitted his shs, we'll know we grouped together as one and did what we suspect we did, conjured up an absolutely "SPLENDID REJECTION".
We couldn't have accomplishd what we have without the Very Best Leaders we are so fortunate to have. There's a massive variance of outstanding Brain Power on our Board.
Having said that, quit arguing! We're all on edge but bear in mind ... there's only TWO more Sleepies. LOL
