- All of you. When I came to Canada as an immigrant 21 years ago, I read as much as I could to be able to get to know my new country. I remember a memorable quote about Canada and Canadians - Margaret Atwood, I think - that the Canadian beaver, when threatened, invariably rolls over and presents its genitals to the attacker. One or two attendances at minor league hockey games, especially watching the behaviour of the spectators, quickly convinced me that she was wrong. Each and everyone of you has proved that, too!
