It's simple really. When you put up a forum like this with tight controls, you limit the ability of those interests to manage the flow of information.

Furthermore, you present a direct challenge by acting as an outlet for alternate views and opinions - an antidote to the flow of disinformation coming from established media.

This is of no concern when you're small, but rises to the level of a threat when your audience reaches critical mass and starts turning away from conventional sources.

That's the reason we're under attack. It has nothing to do with Aurelian, and everything to do with discrediting this medium and the people who use it.
