Actually, I believe safe did a better job during his time

here than anyone else could have or was willing to do.

He stepped up, initiated, and laid down a common meeting

place where we all benefitted for a time. Could someone

else have done that, of course, but nobody else did.

If it were up to me, I would have thrown down some

sort of goodbye statement but really, nobody here owes

anybody else anything it could be argued.

In the end, we have/had the best little internet

posse that i've ever stumbled across. Safe was

part of it, but he/she wasnt the genesis of it.

I think every player here had a significant contribution

to this board, and as such each of us should not

be required to bow out with a closing statement.

It would be disappointing, but certainly not blasphemous.

Each of us would have our reason for exiting. If/when

I reach mine, I don't owe anybody an explanation.

Neither you, nor Safe.

Like I said, it would have been nice to hear something,

but if we can decide to go softly, then he/she's deserved

the same consideration.
