The following trader note was released by the Toronto Stock Exchange on Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at 11:57 a.m.

The common shares of the company will be delisted at the close today, Friday, Oct. 3, 2008. The delisting results from the completion of the share exchange offer by Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX: K) to purchase all of the issued and outstanding common shares of the company, on the basis of 0.317 of a common share of Kinross and 0.1429 of a Kinross common share purchase warrant for each common share of the company held. It is understood that a notice of compulsory acquisition was mailed on or about Sept. 30, 2008, to all shareholders of the company who did not tender to the offer.
