Is the information about direct registration inaccurate? That is, have you been able to register directly shares of Canadian entities? Or in what precise way have you protected yourself? Believe me, I am not quibbling. This may be an unlikely contingency, but surely needs to be explored. I have made only tentative but ineffective steps in that direction. The more I read about the current accelerating financial crisis, the more I wish I had gotten serious about this several months ago.

What say you? Anybody else with insight on this?
