Yes for those 60% of people who only read the headline the US economy supposedly grew 5.7 % now go back to sleep and dream on in your fantasy land hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Now for the real whole story as reported by your Fearless devils advocate.

Year over Year GDP declined 2.4% and that is using the US inflation deflator which anyone with half a brain should know is hardly trustworthy.

Oh, Oh a big part of the decrease was in consumer spending which actually makes sense since people without jobs can not spend much.

Consumer spending represents aprox 70% of US economy

This is a preliminary estimate and compiled on incomplete data as reported and in all likelyhood will be revised down. These people must be as intelligent as those who released India's gold import data and then had to revise it up by aprox 50% hahahahahahahaha.

3RD Quarter numbers were revised down from 3.5 to 2.2%

The DOW continues to wake up to fundimentals and obviously there are a few investors in it that can read farther than the headline hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

The powers that be continue to squeeze the shorts in the US dollar and drive it up. Fundimentally the shorts have it right but they should have realized long ago, just like margin players that they for the most part are just siting ducks in most cases for the big players.
