Yes one must be very careful in these situations. Once bitten twice shy and an ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure.

The correct expression is wait with bated breath though I have personally seen a lot of baiting being practiced on these bullboards.

In fact over the last 3 years I have witnessed so much baiting I would swear that I was involved in a bear hunt hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
