You Da' Man! Yes, I always try the foods in the local shops too, but very carefully I check on their cleanliness as an eatery before ingesting!!

As for the resorts that we stayed in at Cabo ...there was the Casa Bonita, very European in looks and style...Roman statues and lots of marble...very clean with great service...right on the main beach, down from the crowded harbor area, with a great view of Land's End...the very end tip of rock that is the bottom of the Baja.

But its sister resort, The Sunset, is located on the other side of the Tip of baja, facing the Pacific Ocean...and is even newer and cleanier! You can't swim in the ocean there because of the terrible rip currents, so if you are into water sports, parasailing, jet skiing, flotation canoe rides behind speed boats....then the Sea of Cortez side of the Baja would be best to stay at...less travel. Though its only 20 minutes to Cabo by the resort's commute bus....good shoping and sports fishing!!
