10:37 AM EDT, 04/06/2020 (MT Newswires) -- Balmoral Resources Ltd (BAR.TO) was at last look up 9.1% after it said Monday that it has mailed a management information circular related to a May 7 special meeting seeking shareholder approval for the planned takeover by Wallbridge Mining Co. Ltd. (WM.TO)

Wallbridge intends to acquire Balmoral through an exchange of 0.71 of a Wallbridge share for each Balmoral Share. The Balmoral board has unanimously approved the deal.

Balmoral encouraged securityholders to vote in advance of the meeting by proxy via internet, phone, fax or mail as personal appearance may be difficult due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The deadline for submission of proxies is on May 5 at 2:00 p.m. Pacific time.
