These Evacs are scheduling nightmares. In addition to the scheduling of the FAA team, the scheduling of the crew has its own challenges. Training of the initial cadre of pilots of course had to take place well before the Evacs began. And after initial training, there are requirements for the crew to stay current in their training. There are 90 day requirements, 120 day requirements, etc. Baltia must perform a balancing act now, so that all of these critical requirements are met, and all crew and aircraft are not only ready for the evac, but then ready for the proving runs. All of these things factored together will determine the next evac date.
