Rubicon Minerals Corporation (TSX:RMX)(OTC PINK:RBYCD) ("Rubicon" or the "Company") announces it has closed its previously reported bought deal private placement financing of 3,895,000 flow-through common shares of the Company (the "Flow-Through Common Shares"), which includes the exercise of the underwriters' option in full, at a price of C$2.57 per Flow-Through Common Share for aggregate gross proceeds to the Company of C$10,010,150 (the "Offering").
The Offering was conducted by a syndicate of underwriters led by BMO Capital Markets, Mackie Research Capital Corporation, and TD Securities Inc.
The gross proceeds from the Offering will be used for Canadian Exploration Expenses (("CEE")(within the meaning of the Income Tax Act (Canada)), and the Company will renounce such CEE with an effective date of no later than December 31, 2017.
