Brains for Brain International Workshop is coming up March 29th to April 1st 2017 in Frankfurt Germany. BiOasis has a presentation on Saturday April 1st.
Bioasis, Rheinhardt Gabathuler: The use of peptide and protein vectors to cross the BBB for the delivery of therapeutic concentration of biologics such as antibodies, siRNA and Lysosomal Enzymes
Another talk title caught my attention:
Helene Gleitz, University of Manchester, United Kingdom: BBB-targeted peptide tagged IDS enzyme corrects neurological disease in MPSII mice
Helene's study has been making the rounds recently, as it appears to have been presented at a recent Gordon Research Conference earlier this month. Also, a similar abstract entitled "Whole body correction of severe mucopolysaccharidosis type II by lentiviral-mediated stem cell gene therapy with blood-brain barrier-crossing peptides" appeared inĀ Molecular Genetics and Metabolism in the Jan/Feb 2017 issue.
