The push and directives to the FDA came from the last year of the Obama administration following the death of his then Vice President...JOE BIDEN'S son Bo Biden and his death from cancer. Many subsequent articles in various magazines and periodicals have confirmed that cancer cures are of  very high priority with the FDA...but the Obama push is the most memorable for me.
