the management team is too inept to 1) get it to the clinic and 2) deliver any shareholder benefit.  

You have no evidence of that.  Just because it's taking longer than you expect doesn't mean management is inept.  That's just a made up story in your head.  If they had tons of money and still weren't moving forward, you might have a point.  But you don't know what negotiations are occurring or what the dificulties are.  To think that someone else would take over and we'd magically move ahead waaaaaay faster is just fantasy.  We'd be just as likely to get someone who moves forward by doing a stock deal that wipes out current investors.
