Tonight is a Blue Moon (once every 19 years on New Year's) and there is an eclipse tonight. In Norcal we will not be able to see these wonderful things, but maybe other parts of the US and Canada will.

On The Pink Sheets - BEHL seems to have some interest today being up nearly 9%. Maybe it is the Blue Moon connected to Blue-Green Algae? A higher-low was made during this down part of the cycle, so a higher-high in the first few weeks of 2010 would confirm Bullishness.

S&P down about half a percent. Yesterday's volume was about one-eighth of normal, so expect today to be no better in volume. NatGassers down, Oils generally up, Gold Miners up, Restaurants Down, Technology generally Up, Retail Down, Ocean Shuppers Down, RecessProofers Down. Might find lots of opportunity out there, but be careful and please stay Diversified.
