It looks to me that Dr. Moro explained that he would improve the test on the Architect system. Abbott said ..Ok but we will not owe you royalties for 2008. Ok by Dr. Moro but once I get it working (which apparently he did) we will return to the Royalty payments in 2009. Oh bye the way..If I am working on this and correct it we would expect higher Royalty payments.. and Abbott agreed.

The words "Commencing with the 2007 Calendar Year" in Section 4.3
shall be deleted and replaced with the words "Commencing in the
Calendar Year subsequent to the Calendar Year in which Abbott makes
its first Commercial Sale" as of the Second Amendment Date. For the
sake of clarification, no annual minimum royalty shall be due or
payable by Abbott for the 2008 Calendar Year.
