Message: Re: Blockchain Foundry and Syscoin questions
Hi @Ibby thanks for the question. Let me try to keep the answers short and if you'd like more detail on any specific point I'll do my best to expand.

> In the recent news release regarding the NEVM deployment, Jag Sidhu mentions the continued support for Syscoin's development. Does this imply Blockchain Foundry will continue to develop upgrades for the Syscoin platform into the foreseeable future?

We have near term plans for contiued development insofar as it aligned with certain product development and revenue generation goals we have. A key part of this is the Layer2 design that the NEVM release enabled and fast, cheap, scalable smart contract execution both of which BCF has plans to leverage in future products such as Peregrine, LastKnown, and other properties still under development.

> Can Blockchain Foundry profit from the Syscoin platform even though it's a decentralized project?

Yes, BCF has already developed revenue from the masternodes it operates on the Syscoin network. Infrastructure required to support the further scalability of the network via Layer2 will also provide crypto economic incentives to participants and BCF plans to continue to participate in those incentive mechanisms. BCF is also utilizing the new smart contract utility of Syscoin to provide clients with scalable and compliant blockchain solutions. We're also looking to expand Peregrine to support regulatory compliant smart contract execution, something that's only possible using Syscoin's unique network infrastructure.

> Jag Sidhu also mentioned re-investing into Syscoin going forward. Does this imply BCF will buy more SYS tokens?

BCF may decide to purchase Syscoin and other promising digital assets in the future, in the near term, however, the focus is on supporting network operations through masternodes and further network development of the protocol to enable Layer2 product use cases which BCF is looking to bring to market.

> Can Blockchain Foundry be rewarded SYS tokens for development on upgrades like Lux, NEVM and Zkrollups?

For NEVM and Zkrollups Yes- BCF can apply for governance grants and masternode holders can choose to have BCF further develop this functionality through decentralized governance. BCF doesn't develop Lux.

> Can any information be shared on the grant provided by the community for BCF to continue development on Syscoin, and how it could tie all these questions together?

The grant provided by the community early on at the release of Syscoin 4 was utilized to subsidize the development of Syscoin in ways that strategically aligned with BCF product initiatives. BCF may make submit additional governance proposals in the future.

Thanks for the questions. While Syscoin is something that BCF does invest its time in remember that we are a network agnostic Blockchain Development and product shop. Our first product launch - https://lastknown.com - is starting on Ethereum. It will expand to Fantom and Syscoin in due time. Similarly wallet products we're developing are multichain- supporting Syscoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin and more. The future is going to be powered by a series of blockchains not just one and that's what we're building toward. Its a vision that goes beyond Syscoin, but in which Syscoin plays a much larger role than it does today due to the regualtory compliant, scalable solutions which be enabled by BCF products.
