Why doesn't the company support the price at the reverse price.I have a guess..

A. There is more to the investigation then what they are letting on

B. They need their personal savings to pay for the attorneys they will need

C.They need to keep as much as their money free for their families while they are "away"

D.They know the stock run by themselves is worthless
