Murphy Oil dud well is 300km away from CGX. The drilling consortium uses the same rig. So when Murphy's spud date was delayed 1.5-2 months, drilling for CGX targets will also be delayed, about 1.5-2 months
Driling will be at bulls-eye targets at Jaguar in Georgetown concession (Repsol and Tullow are partners) and Eagle in the Corentyne concession.
Late Apr-May will likely be spud dates.
Shell had a discovery in 1975 connected to on shore Surname. CGX believes they have the offshore source of the Shell discovery which is more suited for today's technology.
Potential prize is:
2.8bbl at P50 for Eagle - 100% owner - Operator CGX
Jaguar P50 of 750mbol - 25% owner - Operator Repsol
Jag will be drilled first, then Eagle
