MISFIT - thanks for the insight. I am not completely clear how this works sometimes. Once I put a stop loss about 20% below the opening price and sure enough, the stock went down to just below my stop loss price, ate up my stocks and then rocketed back to higher than the opening. Crazy. Needless to say, I have stopped doing for the most part.
