But two lottery tickets stood out today. First of all CGX Energy was running rather dramatically, but we contact two company officials and they suggest that there is no news. It’s amazing to see that with volume like that and a move like that, the Exchange didn’t halt it—but there you go! CGX Energy has been drilling the Eagle-1 shallow well and the Jaguar-1 deep well offshore Guyana for the last four months or so and the Eagle is definitely behind schedule and we hear is still drilling. CGX owns 100% of that well. On the deeper well (the Jaguar) they have partners Repsol, YPF Guyana and Tullow Oil and with all the excitement today, you would think somebody, somewhere knows what’s going on. But check the ‘Bullboards’ and even the folks who are most up-to-date on all sorts of gossip, seem a little lost. We wonder if the biggest surprise isn’t that it’s their deep well—the Jaguar that might have hit on one of its first zones and if that’s the case, my goodness, Tullow once again hits. They have an incredible track record with their exploration successes everywhere from Kenya to Guyana to Ghana to Sierra Leone to Gabon. That’s just guessing on our part and I’m sure shortly we will find out what really is going on...if in fact they have even hit. But there you go.
