Borne, as I understand it SGS selected the grab sample (for Evans GDMS) during the 10th SGS pilot plant trial. They continued to run another 12 trials while fine tuning the process and the results continued to improve as shown in figure 3.
However the Evans GDMS results , although excellent, were done on material that was less pure than the material produced by SGS in later tests. Thus the conclusion that the GDMS results could be even better had the sample been selected from later trials. I'm not sure how much better you can get that 99.9925????
