That is interesting. It was four days later on April 11th that CIVC made the announcement about the gas discovery in the Green Point Shales and in the same letter announced that the proposed merger with SPE had fallen through.
It seems, then, that it was the unexpected potential of the Green Point Shales that made the difference, and probably made the difference to SPE's ability to negotiate the RT with Union Gold.
This says to me that even without oil in the Aguathuna, we are not going away from this empty-handed. With oil in the Aguathuna, we are all sitting in the space shuttle ready for blast off.
Does this seem rational?
