As much as I like your optimistic view on things and your huge numbers unfortantly there are many more factors involved then just dividing the number of barrels by the number of shares.

First of all they (CQV) along with SPE beleives that there is up to 4 billion barrels of oil...it could just as easily be 2 billion (which is still good) or nothing. No matter how many barrels of oil that is present there will only be a small percentage that is actually recoverable...this number is most likely around 5-10% of the total oil. This number could be more or less depending on how the shales are actually structured or layered and especially how they react when SPE who is the operator "Fracs" them. This could cause the oil in the ground to run off in a hundred different directions...no one really knows. But be sure its not like sticking a straw into a glass and just sucking everything out.

The oil present in the shales is mostly likely somewhat constantly moving or else has the ability to more which is why over the years there has been stories of oil seeping out of the ground in different places along the West Coast. The oil that is seeping out just happened to find a path to the surface. The shales consist of many many layers. My guess is that they will have to drill then suck out what oil they can then Frac the hole and see if they can get anymore....if they can't they directional drill another hole and continue the process all over again.

Also Shoal Point Energy (SPE) is th operator for this job. They have a 61.5% interest in whatever comes out of the ground which leaves CQV with 38.5%.

There are still many more factors and issues that I haven't even mentioned that will have a huge effect on share price but you can be sure that if they find 2-4 billion barrels of oil it will be "quite a good day coming" as you said.

By the time we drill and find out if there is anything in the ground I think that SPE may be publically traded. So if you are looking in increase your chances on making money, thats always an option. This should happen in the coming months.

Regardless of all of these numbers and possible situations there is definitely a lot of possibilitys surrounding this company again. I personally think that this time it is going to happen and CQV will make a lot of people some money. Here's to hoping
