CBC has announced this morning that Nalcor is supposed to start drillilng at Parson's Pond next week.
Expected depth is to be twice the depth drilled previously at the same location.
I wonder if there is a similar shale shist (layer) in the area where they are drilling as what is reported to be out at the proposed CQV drill site?
That would mean if Nalcor hits oil in the same layer then it would not be too far a jump that the new CQV drill site would probably have a similar occurance when they get that far with the drilling in March of this year.
