Canasia's neighbour has just released significant drill results (again) on the property that borders Canasia. Of particular interest is that the news release states that the lenses are open to the west. Our property is directly to the west. Canasia is expecting to initiate the drill program on the Reed Lake Property early in 2009.

VMS Ventures Inc. has provided results from drill holes RD-08-68, RD-08-69, RD-08-70 and 71 at its Reed Lake discovery zone near Snow Lake, Man.

A highlight is the RD-08-71 intersection of 39.71 metres (130.28 feet) grading 4.04 per cent copper.

Vice-president of exploration, Dr. George Gale, states: "Hole RD-08-68 was drilled to test for mineralization below hole RD-08-67. Hole RD-08-69 was designed to test the eastern extension of the mineralization. These holes intersected only the mafic intrusion and did not intersect either the A or B lense. No further holes will be drilled in that area of the deposit, until a clearer geological picture and geophysical target is developed. Holes RD-08-70 and RD-08-71 tested the western extension of both the A and B lenses. Both drill holes intersected the A lense. Hole RD-08-71 also intersected the central parts of the B lense, whereas hole RD-08-70 overshot the top of the B lense. Holes 68 and 69 determined what may be the eastern extent of the B lense. Holes 70 and 71 are on the westernmost section drilled to date. Borehole geophysical surveys indicate that both lenses are still open to the west of the section containing holes 70 and 71."
