CEO and President
Joanne (Joey) C. Freeze is CEO and co-founder of Candente Copper Corp. Since entering the mineral exploration business in 1979, Ms. Freeze has managed exploration programs and evaluated projects for both junior and major international mining companies such as Queenstake Resources Ltd., Arequipa Resources Ltd., Mountain Province Mining Inc., Placer Dome Inc., Dia Met Minerals Corp., Hughes/ Lang Group and Utah Mines Ltd. (BHP).
Ms. Freeze lived and worked in Peru from 1994 to 1997 where she carried out both project generation work and property evaluations for Canadian and Peruvian companies. As a result of her experience in Peru, a partnership was formed with Peruvian geologist Ing. Fredy Huanqui (co-discoverer of the Pierina gold mine) and a new mineral exploration company was born. Candente Resource Corp. was established in 1997, which operated privately until going public on May 15, 2000. Since then Candente Resource Corp. has spun-out various assets to form two other companies, Candente Gold Corp. and Cobriza Metals Inc.. All three companies are listed on the TSX and the Candente companies are co-listed on the Lima stock exchange. Ms. Freeze is CEO of all three companies and President of Candente Gold Corp.
Ms. Freeze obtained a B.A. in Geography from the University of Western Ontario in 1978 and a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of British Columbia in 1981. She is a Fellow Member of the Geological Association of Canada and is registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, Canada.

Giulio T. Bonifacio

Mr. Bonifacio has over 30 years of experience in senior executive roles in the mining industry in both the base and precious metals sector. Mr. Bonifacio was the Founder, President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Nevada Copper from 2005 until his retirement in February 2018. Mr. Bonifacio led and directed every stage of advancement of the Pumpkin Hollow copper mine from exploration, development, permitting and construction. Mr. Bonifacio is a Chartered Professional Accountant with considerable experience and knowledge of operations, capital markets and project finance while raising significant amounts of capital for projects of merit by way of project debt, offtake and equity.
Giulio T. Bonifacio

Mr. Bonifacio was the Founder, President and Director of Nevada Copper since its inception in 2005 until his retirement in February 2018. Giulio directed efforts at every stage of development at the Pumpkin Hollow copper project from early stage exploration, feasibility studies, permitting both the underground and large open pit operations and initial construction which led to a production start in December 2019. Mr. Bonifacio has held previous senior executive roles with Getty Resources Limited, TOTAL Energold Corp., an energy and gold producer and Vengold Inc., gold producer prior to founding Nevada Copper in 2005. Giulio currently holds the positions of CEO and Director of Kerr Mines Inc. and Chairman and Director of Copperbank Resources Corp. Mr. Bonifacio is currently leading efforts for the re-start of the Copperstone gold project which is fully permitted with significant mining infrastructure, underground development and processing infrastructure currently in place.
Christine Nicolau

General Manager of Metals, Latin America, for Fortescue. Ms. Nicolau is responsible for Fortescue’s South American minerals business including exploration, project development and other growth activities. She is also responsible for the identification of metals growth opportunities across the South America region.
Ms. Nicolau has been with Fortescue for over 10 years. During this time, Ms. Nicolau has held a range of management positions across Australia and South America including, Manager Corporate Development of Fortescue from September 2015 to 2018. Ms. Nicolau is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Mr. Luis Miguel Inchaustegui Zevallos

A leader in corporate matters and sustainability in the extraction sector, Mr. Inchaustegui is experienced in sustainable development, communications, community relations, legal and institutional relationships. Miguel’s mission is to generate value for all parties involved through a social strategy based on the Shared Value concept, which allows companies to become an ally with community and governments.
Mr. Inchaustegui is a lawyer with an MBA and has 27 years’ experience working in Transnational corporations and government, including Gold Fields Ltd., Lumina Copper Peru, Barrick Gold Corp., Volcan Mining Company and the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Peru. His management and advisory roles have included Legal Advisor, Vice-President Corporate Affairs and Sustainable Development, Corporate Secretary and both Vice Minister and Minister of Mines of Peru.
Steven Latimer

Mr. Latimer is Managing Director and Head of the Americas for London-based Bacchus Capital Advisers, an independent investment banking boutique with a particular expertise in the natural resources sector. Mr. Latimer has over 30 years of experience as a leading global M&A adviser and has led numerous financings for mining companies, with a focus on both operating and development copper companies operating in the Americas.
Mr. Latimer has previously acted as Managing Director and Head of Canadian Investment Banking for Jefferies and served as Director and President of Jefferies Securities, Inc. Prior to Jefferies, Mr. Latimer was Head of Credit Suisse's Canadian Metals and Mining Investment Banking practice.
Mr. Latimer is a holder of the Institute of Corporate Directors Director Designation (ICD.D), received his MBA from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and his HBA from The University of Western Ontario. In addition, Mr. Latimer is a CFA Charterholder.
Jeremy Meynert

Mr. Meynert is Head of Corporate Development for Fortescue. In this role, he is responsible for Fortescue's transactional corporate development activities including managing Fortescue's investment portfolio of publicly listed mineral companies and structuring investment transactions.
Mr. Meynert was previously Head of Business Development and Investor Relations with Resolute Mining Limited, where he was responsible for corporate strategy, transactional business development, funding, external relations, and communications. Prior to this, Mr. Meynert was Vice President of Metals and Mining Investment Banking at Citigroup, based in London and Australia.
Mr. Meynert has a Master of Mining Engineering (Excellence), a Bachelor of Laws (Distinction), a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) and has been admitted to practice as a lawyer.
Dale Found as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Found has more than 30 years of international accounting and finance experience, of which the last 15 have been spent in progressively more senior roles within the mining industry. He has significant experience both in corporate and mine site operational finance, having been part of the senior leadership team at Nevada Copper Corp. that positioned the mine for the final construction phase. Additionally, he was a key member of the management team that took New Gold Inc.'s New Afton Mine through the construction phase and into commercial production, delivering the mine on time and on budget. Immediately prior to that, Mr. Found was responsible for all financial matters for New Gold Inc. in Mexico from a hands-on position at the mine. Mr. Found is a Chartered Professional Accountant, C.A. and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and has a wealth of experience in financial reporting, operational planning, treasury management and ERP/systems implementations.

Ms. Rempel has more than 25 years of accounting and financial management experience. Ms. Rempel started her career with public companies in 2001 and currently provides senior financial advisory services to Canadian private and public corporations, acting in officer or Controller capacities. In 2006 she founded CTB Consulting to provide 'one-stop' financial reporting services to public companies on the TSX and TSX-v exchanges.
Sean I. Waller, P. Eng.

Mr. Waller is a registered Professional Engineer with 30 years of International experience in mining project management, evaluation, design and operation, with a specific focus on large scale copper projects and gold projects. Currently Mr. Waller is a Senior Advisor with Wood Mining and Minerals (previously AMEC), a division of Wood PLC, a global engineering and construction firm. Prior to joining Candente he was with AMEC in Vancouver where he held the positions of Vice President of Global Business Development and Senior Project Manager. While at AMEC, Mr. Waller managed the feasibility study for Nevsun's Bisha gold/copper mine in Eritrea and the front end engineering for Inmet's Cobre Panama project in Panama.
Prior to AMEC, Mr. Waller worked with SNC-Lavalin's Mining Division in management and senior technical roles. Mr. Waller also previously worked for Freeport-McMoran at its Grasberg copper operation in Indonesia. Mr. Waller is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum ("CIM") and is currently a member of the CIM Audit and Risk committee. He was President of the CIM in 2015. Mr. Waller previously served on the CIM National Executive Council as Vice-President of District 6 (British Columbia and Yukon).
Mr. Waller has a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and a Masters Degree in Mineral Process Engineering from The Montana School of Mines in Montana.
