I want to summarize reports I have read from analysts that have visited Camino Rojo as recently as May 1. The company is drilling up to CR-73 and CRD-14 with 3 RC holes drilled as infill between CRD-9 and CR-19 as of May 1st.
The IP and reconnaissance geophysical and geochemical programs have turned up other targets outside of Represa and Don Julio zones, including 3 IP anomalies to the southwest of Represa, that are hypothesized to be buried intrusions, that will be tested. The reports indicated that the company believes that CRD-9 intersected the down-faulted western portion of Represa.
The zinc mineral is black sphalerite and the lead mineral is galena, higher grades are potentially associated with coarser grained pyrite (which is the main sulfide mineral in classic diatreme/hydrovolcanic deposits). No comments were made about the gold grain-size and metallurgical testing has not been done to date.
Not investment advice... My take on this... the number of drilled holes is not unexpected and means that we should see a steady release of these results (some tomorrow, I hope).
The minerals that are in the deposit are common zinc and lead sulfides.
The"blue-sky" keeps growing as results come in from the property wide reconnaissance exploration program.
Anyone notice that CRD-9 had a narrow (by Represa standards) gold intercept about the same depth of CR-5 with a thick mineralized zone at depth? Maybe this is the pattern for Don Julio, looks that way to me.
The exciting thing about the IP results that the company posted last week is that they did not drill into the "strong" IP anomaly under Don Julio, which is as large as the Represa "strong" IP anomaly. CRD-9 showed higher grades at depth, I just wonder what Don Julio will look like at depth, potentially better yet?
I will inquire and try to confirm these things in my conversation with Blaine and Bruce Youngman in the next couple of days and report on those conversations here.
Off to sleep... registration begins at 7 AM. A 1.5 km ore-body strike seems less like a dream, so my dreams will be about a great NR in 5 hours and more buried intrusives to be found.
Not investment advice... but hope to confirm the information contained in this post.
