In conversation with Blaine Monyahan last week I asked about this comment in the last NR, He indicated that there is confusion about what is going on. They are not looking to expand the land position around Don Julio but just entering talks with the local people (villagers... local residents) to bring them on board with the coming development of the deposit. He explained that the surface and mineral rights are separate and that the local folks are stakeholders in this process and have an interest in the surface holding according to tradition and Mexican law. He said that there are legal means where the surface right can be obtained but to work with the local people is much better than to just try to ignore them. I have been busy but have watched this discussion on both boards and just now have a moment to relay what I was told.
