Fresnillo is the logical one IMO. If one looks at the Canplats Block Model, the high-grade zone's updip trend leads right on to the Fresnillo property to the north. A nice portion of the Represa deposit is on Fresnillo ground. Any winner here must deal with Fresnillo or leave a good portion of the deposit in the north pit wall. They also are long-time locals and Mexicans (Newmont is a minority holder of Penmont). They might have the best chance to get the surface rights issues taken care of IMO.
Let's hope for some "machismo" bidding back and forth. Two giants tugging on the same ground. May the bidding end with us getting north of $6/ share!
