KELOWNA, BC, Dec. 5, 2011 /CNW/ - Cantex Mine Development Corp. (CD : TSXV) ("Cantex" or the "Company") is pleased to announce drilling results from its Al Hariqah gold project.
Results from the final 7 holes from the most recent batch of core samples from the Al Hariqah gold project have been received. Upper portions of the holes are typically drilled using percussion techniques and the holes are then extended with core drilling. The following table presents significant results that have just been received along with any results previously reported from the same holes:

Drilling at the Al Hariqah project continues to intersect gold mineralization over significant lengths. Hole RDH-M intersected 48.72 meters of 1.19 g/t gold from a depth of 98.9 meters depth including 7.50 meters of 3.53 g/t gold.
Extension of hole RDH-N by core drilling added to the mineralization previously reported. New mineralization includes 5.55 meters of 3.26 g/t gold from 68 meters depth and 24.69 meters of 1.35 g/t gold from 91 meters depth.
Hole RDH-O intersected 4 zones of gold mineralization greater than 1 g/t. The two most significant zones are 12.48 meters of 1.33 g/t gold from 35.37 meters and 18.13 meters of 1.97 g/t gold from 73.13 meters.
Hole RDH-R intersected a broad zone of gold mineralization; 148.74 meters of 0.89 g/t gold from 6 meters depth. Within this extensive zone several higher grade sections were intersected including 12 meters of 2.79 g/t gold from 66 meters depth and 4.54 meters of 2.54 g/t gold from 150.2 meters depth.
Summary
Cantex is pleased with the continued intersection of anomalous gold mineralization at Al Hariqah. Drilling continues at both the Al Hariqah gold and Suwar nickel-copper-cobalt projects under the supervision of Canadian geologist Graham Janson. At Al Hariqah there remain 28 holes to be completed by core drilling. These are the last of a 162 hole program which will form the foundation of a prefeasibility study on the Al Hariqah gold project.
