I think that W and his cronies simply did not believe in regulation of any kind, anywhere - even in food and drug inspection. The Democrats are not a helluva lot better. They all need the millions of dollars wall street can give them for re-election. In addition, none of the politicos will risk shaking the good ole boy stock market to its core by revealing just how corrupt the thing really is. I wish the SEC had some cojones but that is not likely to ever be the case. If they would just make an example on the issue of NSS of one company, hopefully JAGH, it would go a long way to restoring some confidence in the market. On the other hand, small OTC and PINK SHEET companies are really buyer beware plays and we should all know better than to expect very much from them.
