Have you investigated getting a satellite internet card for your computer? I know they have them here for laptops through cell phone companies and I think the monthly fee is about $30 for the service. I don't think your remote location would matter since it is a satellite signal like GPS devices rather than a tower signal or wired signal. Just a thought for something that might solve your problem.
