Dog, I think the only thing magic about the 50 cent level is that is where the market makers place the ask price lately. As we have seen for months, there is a clear pattern of manipulative and illegal tape painting in this stock at the close or anytime the stock drops to a low level. Such trades are placed with "market" orders so it will execute wherever the MM's have set the ask price.

These folks apparently think they are fooling someone but they are only throwing away money in a futile effort to pretend the stock is moving up. The market makers have to love it though because they are making almost 50% on their stock when they buy it from "market" sellers at 35 cents and sell it to the tape painters at 50 cents. And they don't even have commission costs either!
