My sentiments exactly. As any good shrink will tell you silence is not always a bad thing. Sometimes there simply isn't anythng new and/or relevant to talk about. Some of the other message boards post hundreds of messages (often the very same message repeatedly) on a daily baisis without adding anything to the actual discussion of the stock in question. I would greatly prefer silence to the arguing and name calling that goes on in other places and has begun to threaten the viability of our own Hub here on Agoracom. I also hate to delete messages or to ban participants but some posters simply are unable or unwilling to abide by our simple but important rules. Although RB claims to have rules of the road I see no indication that they are being actively enforced. Chil and I are tasked with doing so here at Agoracom and we both take our responsibilities very seriously. Both longs and shorts are encouraged to post on this Hub provided that they do so in a civil and factual way. Cheerleading and bashing are equally actively discouraged on Agoracom Hubs.
