Wow,
Continuing events have convinced me that the beads are "...not close to commercialization"
- Cardiogenics continues to fail to conduct and report positive results from a head-to-head clinical study despite their public announcements that such a study would be completed by dates long past.
- Merck has not announced a launch coupled with a significant marketing effort to support commercialization of the beads
- Cardiogenics, despite establishing a subsidiary designed specifically to sell the beads continues to report no meaningful sales
- The two touted MTA's have each failed to morph into supply agreements that produce meaningful revenue streams for Cardiogenics
IMO until Cardiogenics or some other party conducts and reports data from a well designed clinical study that the beads produce the improved performance promised by Cardiogenics, the beads have limited commercial value beyond the intellectual property value of issued patents.
