IMO Dr G and his Board are fully aware of the results of the Beta Site Study and they refuse to announce them publicly as the share price will crater leaving Dr G with nothing of value for twenty years of development work.

Walking away from your "baby" is always difficult but failing to execute your duties as the CEO of a public company is damning!
