Although I'd much rather see Mr. Atkins hold shares I do believe he is doing a good job in moving the mine forward. We all know that the market is not always rational when it comes to share prices, and he has garnered interest from respected figures like Jay Taylor.
I believe he has a good handle on the company's future and losing Atkins would be a good reason to sell ... I do believe that they must remain dilligent in managaing expense, ensure that key employees who have successfully located the gold and built the mines are rewarded accordingly.
The CEO should be satisified with the potential and avoid putting his interests first, and Mr. Atkins would do well to exercise some options aligning himself with the shareholders.
