Historic Discovery Along Porcupine Destor Fault
I wrote that post on the previous day... The tailings have had some work done on them and the company has described 200,000 oz in the tailings from the previous mines. The preliminary results indicate over 80% recovery. They have hired a firm to do a 'scoping" study on the economics, process and facilities that could process the tailings. This report should be released around the time of the 43-101. It is being done independantly from the 43-101 by a different firm. Many newletter writers have mentioned the potential value of the tailings, the proof will be in this coming report. I am pleased about going over $3 CAD because the lion share of my position was bought at $.98 US, not too long ago!. Good news to come I expect. I have been a SH since May 2009.
Sorry to have missed your PM...thought I responded. I suggest that you go to SEDAR and read the MD&A from CFO. It does a good job in discussing the tailings. You are right, no milling, the rock has already been milled and is above ground. The questions remain are how to process them, recovery rate and where to process them. All topics I expect that will be included in this upcoming report.
Sorry again for not responding to you PM... won't happen again.
Give Harry Miller a call, he will be more than happy to speak with you. They may be in Quebec, on site. I know they are touring interested folks. NBF just did a report if you have access to their publications OrtMetal just updated too. Lots of good DD stuff out there.
