MineralFields NR makes nice of and begs OUR ignorance of their opening surprise proxy attack, just days, literally hours before the CFO annual meeting. This is what you call "bashing" of MF?
This is not a reasonable or an honorable way of putting forth nominees to a BoD for which you are a majority shareholder IMO. It seems to me, a shareholder, that MineralFields tried to catch all off-guard and succeed in capturing a majority on Clifton Star's Board with their “new slate” of nominees.
Quick, stealthy with unknown intentions…MF left little room for other shareholders to believe other than that they are attempting to raid the board room of Clifton Star and take MF-control over corporate decisions, for their own undeclared interests, only now "reluctantly" revealed by the MF in NR. As if they were forced into responding publically by tactics of Clifton Star’s management. I find it hard to swallow any claims MF makes about its intentions in the past or for the future.
They now proclaim in NR to be a friend to Clifton Star shareholders, amending their terms to seem more reasonable... AFTER swooping in from nowhere to take control!?... with this MF initial surprise assault diverted for now, MF claims in NR that they, in the interest of democracy, now solicit my vote, thereby affirming their last minute/surprise rush for control at CFO.This is insulting and begs the question of MF surprise proxy move in the first place!
MF by its actions, not because of "bashing" here or any where else, is suspect IMO and does not deserve my support, only my suspicion.
