I apologize for not at first thanking you for bringing resource information forward that relates to the current “peak oil” situation. The majority of Americans, including our politicians, seem to be oblivious to the brick wall that we are rapidly approaching! Since 2004, the date when the book you recommended was published, their have been numerous other books published that touch on the same subject and literally thousands of articles and formal research reports. Matthew R. Simmons with his book, “Twilight in the Desert”, may have made the most international waves. He postulates in that book that the Saudia Oilfields are old and may be in, or close to, terminal decline. Since he is chairman of Simmons & Company International, an international investment bank, he is no light weight. He gives frequent lectures and his presentations can be found at his company’s website: http://www.simmonsco-intl.com/ The following is a few of the books on the subject of peak oil that can be found at Amazon.com Peak Oil Survival: Preparation for Life After Gridcrash by Aric McBay Twilight in the Desert: The Coming Saudi Oil Shock and the World Economy by Matthew R.
