I have started to follow this board as well as the stockhouse board, and like what I see so far. Here are my thoughts on a "progress report," as I posted a few minutes ago on $ftmc:
You could look at it this way: Connacher is obligated to release negative news if any major problems develop which would have a material effect upon the valuation of the company. There have been no such releases, nor has there been a major sell-off in the past day or so to indicate something bad might have just happened which is about to be released.
In other words, what I'm saying is not to worry. If you believe in the company, you can sit tight for a while longer. Realistically, it probably won't be until four to six months into steaming before production starts to climb in a significant way. In mid-February, the company will release its 2007 exit rate with the financials. By then, Algar might be close to approval, and any number of other things could happen.
Let's just assume that nothing major is going to happen in the latter half of this month. It's Christmas time, and we're still in the 2007 taxation year. Let's not stress out if nothing is released until after New Year's, when people get back to work, and attention is focused back on the markets.
