The announcement today by Connacher was extremely positive from my perspective.  They are starting production on schedule,

Everything is going according to plan,

They are averaging 400 barrels a day of bitumen production with some days as high as 600! (The fact that it’s from the circulation doesn’t negate the fact that it is being produced and sold!) This will only go up as they start producing from the first well pair.

(Incidentally 400 barrels per day of production translates into 7.3 million dollars of added income at $50.00/barrel for bitumen.)

They are on schedule to achieve 10,000 barrels a day production in 2008.
