There could be any number of things going on that made the site slow or totally non responsive. This morning when I came into work it was unresponsive. It was not until later in the morning that I was able to access it . It may have been do to too many ligitimate users trying to access it at once and just overloaded their servers or perhaps they were experiencing a "denial of service attack" by web hackers. Anyway it appears to be working fine now.
